Adrien Burnett


Adrien has been an adaptive athlete & has been training competitively for over two decades. A former collegiate D1 wheelchair basketball player at the University of Arizona. In my free time, Adrien is a current member & captain of the Philadelphia Magee 76ers wheelchair basketball team, and a member of the Maryland Thunder Wheelchair Lacrosse team. As an elite athlete with Spina Bifida, his focus is to create an elite fitness atmosphere for all attendees that provides a creative and wholesome way to focus on different aspects of fitness.

How do you inspire?

Lead by example and train as hard as everyone in my class. I guarantee I will do what you do and we will take on the class together.

Outside Kakana

I spend my time volunteering throughout rehabilitation hospitals/centers and youth programs teaching sports to adolescents w/ disabilities at Johns Hopkins and Kennedy Kreiger. I also Attend American University studying Policy, to hopefully help create more assists for people with disabilities.
